This notice explains how personal data shared through the contact and reservation request form on devayachting.com is processed under Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”).

1. Data controller and contact details

Data controller: DEVA Yachting (website operator).

2. Personal data processed

When you use the form, we may process your name, email address, telephone number, party size, planned travel dates and any optional notes or special requests you provide. The exchange rate used for the price calculation may be stored in your browser's sessionStorage for the current session.

Please do not include special-category personal data or sensitive information that is not needed for your reservation request in the notes field.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

Your data is processed to receive and respond to your request, prepare information or a yacht-charter offer, contact you, take steps requested by you before a possible contract, maintain information security and meet legal obligations.

Where processing is directly related to establishing a contract at your request, the legal ground may be Article 5(2)(c) of KVKK; other applicable legal grounds may apply where required by law. Sending a request does not subscribe you to marketing communications.

4. Collection method, recipients and transfers

Data is collected electronically when you submit the website form or contact us by email or telephone. The Resend email API is used to deliver reservation requests by email. The request may be shared with the relevant mailbox, email and hosting infrastructure providers, which may process data under their own technical systems and service terms. When the page loads, Google Fonts and the exchange-rate APIs may receive technical request information such as your IP address; reservation form fields are not sent to those services.

Resend and other infrastructure providers may process data outside Türkiye. Before the form is used in production, the operator must confirm the providers' processing locations, subprocessors and the transfer safeguards required by Article 9 of KVKK. Do not send sensitive information through the form.

5. Retention period

Request data is retained for as long as necessary to respond and manage the communication. If a contract is formed, relevant records may be retained for applicable statutory retention and limitation periods. When the purpose and retention period end, data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized. Backup and retention periods of email providers may be governed by their own terms.

6. Your rights under KVKK

Under Article 11 of KVKK, you may ask whether your personal data is being processed, request information about processing, learn its purpose and whether it is used accordingly, learn the third parties to whom it is disclosed, request correction or deletion/destruction where applicable, and seek compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
